Our Background
Franklin Coffee isn’t just about coffee — it’s about family, fun, and a few bold leaps along the way.
Back in September 2023, Em and Ross (better known as Hubby) decided to take a chance on a new adventure. They’d met the Franklin Coffee crew at a local market, where Em was enjoying a brew and one of her boys was busy running his cookie stall. With a cheeky grin, he piped up: “Mum, coffee and cookies are a match made in heaven — you should buy it!” And just like that, the seed was planted.
Not long after, Franklin Coffee officially became part of the family. For Em, it was a brave jump from her 20-plus years in accounts admin into the hustle and bustle of hospitality. But she’s always loved people, service, and great coffee — so in many ways, it felt like coming home.
Of course, this has never been a solo act. Ross is right there beside her, and the kids all chip in when they can. Her son especially has grown from “cookie boss” to a barista in his own right, known for his professionalism — but still quick with a cheeky grin while he’s making your coffee.
Whether it’s served from one of the family’s charming vintage caravans or their sleek mobile carts, Franklin Coffee is about more than just great brews. It’s about creating little moments of joy, sparking conversations, and bringing people together over coffee (and sometimes cookies).
And at the heart of it all? Community. Em and Ross love giving back, proudly supporting local clubs, schools, and groups. Every cup poured isn’t just a coffee — it’s a connection, and part of a much bigger story.

For as long as I can remember, it was a dream of mine to have my own café — and while it may not look like the traditional style cafe, Franklin Coffee is my interpretation. That dream brought to life. Stepping into the hospitality world was a leap of faith, but it’s been incredibly rewarding. I love being out in the community, connecting with people, and serving great coffee at events big and small. This business is built on heart, hard work, and a genuine passion for creating moments that bring people together. As my dream continues to blossom, my heart desire is with our coffee we are also spreading a little bit of joy.

We are proud to purchase our hot chocolate from GROUNDED PLEASURES Their Chocolate and Chai is made in small batches in Ballarat, regional Victoria. The finest of ingredients to make the perfect Gluten Free Vegan Hot Chocolate Powders

You can design your own menu, or tell us your what you like and we can come up with a menu of fine wines, and craft beers. Cocktails really should be our middle name, with our signature espresso martini you wont be disappointed.
